Eric and I just got back from our appointment...and it's a girl! I have to tell you about the whole experience though. They told me to drink 20 oz. of water 45 minutes before the appointment. I thought...yeah, that's easy. So, I start chugging on the way there. Water + car ride + waiting = Impossible! By the time we got there, I was struggling to hold it in. I asked Eric to ask a lady if I could use the restroom, and he said, "why don't you ask her?" I said, "Eric, if I get up, I'm going to go!" So, he kindly asked the lady if I could go, and thankfully she said yes. I RAN to the bathroom (a one-staller) and a lady was walking in. I was horrified..I knew I couldn't make it to another bathroom in time. I must have had that look on my face, because she politely told me I could go first. Thank goodness. I didn't think I was going to make it.
Now to the good stuff. Well, we were disappointed to find out that we couldn't videotape or take pictures during the ultrasound. We got over it pretty fast though. She showed us a lot of things about the baby, but she couldn't really tell us if everything looked good. She said that our dr. would have to tell me about the development. That was a little disappointing, but judging by her reactions, nothing looked wrong. I have an appointment on Tuesday to go over all of the pictures with my OB. The whole ultrasound was about 35 minutes due to our little girl being a little uncooperative. It was heaven! I told the lady it felt like she has been doing somersaults, and I was right. She did one while we were there. :) Silly girlie!
And then...we stopped at the mall to get an outfit for the baby! :) We also picked out a baby memory book by Eric Carle for her, compliments of my mom's friend Kiki! That's all for now!

Kelina,
So this is where your blogging time is spent (ours has really been neglected!)
Well, I was wrong on guessing a boy... I guess it is time for me to stop listening to everyone around me and their old wives tales!
I am very excited for you and ecomerfo.
Yay! Congratulations! I'm so excited for you! What's really weird is that I was making my bed this morning and I thought to myself, "I haven't talked to Kelly in a long time. I should call her tonight and see if they know whether they are having a girl or a boy yet." And then what do you know...I get a link to your blog. How exciting everything must be for you right now! I can't wait to see you soon!
Oh, my goodness! How CUTE! She already has a little outfit! :-) I am so happy for your guys - and love the blog!
Congratulations!!! Little girls are so wonderful. I know exactly how you felt about the whole water incident. The same thing happened to me. Don't worry...it's only gets harder to hold!!
