So what's our big news?

We are moving! Yep, that's right folks. We are packing up our stuff and heading north.

Who: The entire Comerford Clan (including Miss Lupe)
What: Moving!
Where: Indianapolis, Indiana
When: Saturday, July 26
Why: Many reasons..mainly to be closer to family and have better weather
How: Lupe and Olivia by plane, Eric and Kelly by car

I am sure everyone has a million questions as to why we are moving, so we have compiled a FAQ section. If your question is not answered below, feel free to ask by leaving a comment! :)

1. How long has this been in the works?
Eric and I originally decided to move to Louisville, KY around the beginning of this year. He looked at jobs in that area for quite some time to no avail. Then we decided maybe we could give Indianapolis a try. One thing lead to another and he was offered a position at Interactive Intelligence around the end of June.

2. Is ExxonMobil transferring Eric to Indianapolis?
No. Eric had to resign from XOM to accept this new position. We waited until he was vested in the company. That means he can keep all of XOM's contributions to his 401K. Nice.

3. Where will Eric be working?
Eric will work for a company called Interactive Intelligence. They are a VoIP company. He will be testing software when the developers come up with new releases. That's all I know. :)

4. Will Kelly be working?
Yes, I'll be hard at work with Miss Olivia and Miss Lupe. :)

5. Do you have a new house?
Unfortunately, we have not sold our house here in Houston. So, during the week Eric will be staying in Indianapolis with his good friend Tim. I will be a nomad, staying with a few different family members an hour and a half away from Eric. :(

6. How is Lupe getting to Indiana?
That's right folks, Lupe will be getting an experience of a lifetime! She'll be riding on the airplane with Olivia and Grandma Karen. We figured a 2 hour plane ride would be much better for her than a 22 hour car ride. Same goes for Olivia.

7. Why Indianapolis?
Easy! It is pretty much the midpoint between our families! My parents, Eric's parents, his sister and brother-in-law, and Grandmother all live in the same town an hour and a half north of Indy. My sister, brother-in-law, and new little niece Addison all live in Jeffersonville, which is about an hour and 45 minutes south of Indy.

8. Are we going to miss Texas?
MOST DEFINITELY! So many things happened here. This was a major stage in our lives and we will really miss it. We LOVE our neighbors and wish we could take them all with us.

I can't believe y'all are really going, but I totally understand. I'm sure we would be doing the same thing if our family lived far away. XOM Christmas parties won't be as enjoyable anymore. :)

I completely understand about wanting to be close to family. That's how we ended back up in Humble after college when I said I'd never want to live here again! Congratulations and good luck! I'm glad Olivia got to experience the great state of Texas, even if it was a short time.

Okay, so I'm sure you don't have anything preoccupying your thoughts right now, but I need some updated photos of that precious baby! I know you have a ton, and I don't have any 8 month photos for my collection! :)
