Julian is 6 months old!

No way, it can't be! Yes! Julian is already 6 months old! Half a year! Crazy how time flies! Anyway, we just got home from his 6 month check-up and here are his stats:

Height: 26.5" (49th percentile)

Weight: 17 lbs. 7.5 oz. (47th percentile)

Head circumference: 44.25 cm (63rd percentile)

Dr. Johnson (so wonderful!) came in a picked him up and said , "Wow, he feels a lot heavier than he looks on paper." She said he is solid. Maybe he will be a football player! He's doing great! He has an ear infection, though, so she gave him a prescription. I was not thrilled to hear that. Why? Because I took both him and Olivia on Friday to the doctor for ear checks and neither one of them had an infection. I had to see a different doctor because ours was out of town, and the newbie said their ears looked great. How can an ear go from looking great to having a full blown infection 3 days later??? Who knows, but I want my copay back!

Julian LOVES two things, Olivia and his pacifier. :) Every time she gets anywhere near him or is in his eyesight, he is smiling from ear to ear. He laughs at her all the time and loves when she pays attention to him. She is always hugging and kissing him and tickling him. He also loves his pacifier. That thing is his best friend. We have tried several vegetables: beans, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash. Squash is definitely his favorite! Pretty soon we'll move on to the fruits, which I am sure he will love. What baby doesn't like fruit?

He can roll like a mad man. He's learning to sit, and he is getting better every day. He can spin himself in a circle, and sometimes scoot backwards. I fear he'll be very mobile very soon. I am pretty sure my life will be over then. Just kidding. :)
