Too many panties

Last night Olivia was having a hard time going to bed. She kept calling for me from her room. Each time I would go in there, she'd have another request. Usually it is to tuck her in, cover her up, get her socks, etc. I had already been in there a number of times, when the last request finally came through. I went in there and she was sobbing. She said her tummy hurt. I thought maybe it was because she needed to use the potty, or because she had just eaten dinner right before she went to bed. After asking her a series of questions to figure out why her tummy hurt, she began crying and said, "My tummy hurts because I am wearing too many panties!" Wow. I told her to stand up so I could check. I pulled down her pjs, and proceeded to help her take off her "extras" one by one until she only had one pair left. Nine. Yes, she was wearing nine pairs of panties. I will never know why, but for some reason, she got up, went to her closet, put on all the panties, and went back to bed. She was unable to sleep because they were so tight. She needed help. I was laughing so hard I was near tears. Unforgettable.
