Yay! Olivia is TWO!

Olivia, we love you so very much and have really enjoyed the past two years with you. You are super sweet and extremely funny! You are the best! I could go on and on, which I will most likely do tomorrow (if this headache ever goes away), but I just wanted to give you a fun birthday post!

My brother and me

I really love my new baby brother. He is very cute and little and doesn't cry very much at all. He likes to look at me. I like to stuff, I mean, put his pacifier in his mouth all day long, even when he doesn't need or want it. Sometimes he smells funny and then Mommy changes his diaper. Sometimes my brother likes to pee or poo all over the place right after Mommy takes off his diaper. I hold Julian a lot. I wonder what "gentle" and "careful" mean because that is what I hear Mommy and Daddy saying every time I get close to him. I think it means I should poke him on the head. I do that a lot, but then I get in trouble, so maybe that is not what those words mean. I think I'm going to like being a big sister.

Olivia's 2nd Birthday Party

Yes, I am totally crazy. We had Olivia's 2nd birthday party on Saturday. Yes, brought our son into the world on Tuesday and had her party on Saturday, but...as I said, I am crazy. It had been planned and all the work was done (pretty much) so we went ahead and had it. I wanted her to feel special and have a celebration all for her. It turned out really well and everyone had a great time. The kids decorated pumpkins and made candy necklaces. We borrowed our neighbor's trampoline, which turned out to be the highlight of the party!

We are so excited to welcome a new baby boy into our family! I'll post the complete birth story later, I just wanted to get this on here now. We are all doing great! At the moment, Julian is alseep in the swing, Olivia is at the park with Nana Becky, Eric is eating cereal, and I am blogging. :) A full photo album is available by clicking on "online photo album" on the left side of the screen.
