I love vacations!

We just got back from a vacation to the CAYMAN ISLANDS! We had the BEST time ever. :) Olivia was in great hands, as she stayed home with her G'ma and G'ma Comerford. They took excellent care of her while we were away.

There were so many fun parts of our trip! We snorkeled at Stingray City on Thursday. I even got to hold one! I was pretty scared because he kept trying to swim right on top of me. I got sucked on by a couple of them because they thought I was lunch. Since their eyes are on the top of their heads and their mouths are on the bottom of their bodies, they can't really get a good look at what they are trying to eat. Guess I smelled tasty. They don't bite, they just give industrial sized hickies. Luckily I pushed them off before they could give me one. :) On that same trip we also snorkeled by some reefs, which were AMAZING! The reefs were Eric's favorite part of the trip. My favorite was holding the stingray. Thursday night we went to an all you can eat "Fuego Night" buffet at our hotel. It was grilled everything...lobster tail, steak, chicken, mahi mahi...loads of food. It was so yummy! I tried some grouper and LOVED it. I am now a fish eater! Never thought I'd say that!

Friday we went to a turtle farm to see some sea turtles. They were so cute! You could hold them if you wanted...so we did! We bought food so we could feed them, but as soon as we got their, it was feeding time. So, they got a LOT of food that day. :) I thought I'd be cool and try to feed one of them from my hand. I wouldn't recommend this...that darn turtle bit me! Oh well, it was my fault. When we got back to the hotel, we cleaned up and got ready for our sunset sail! It was gorgeous. They served chicken wings for dinner...so Eric was in heaven. :)

Saturday was BEACH DAY! We were beach bums and hung out all day. We took a kayak out and explored the waters around our hotel. Then we rented some snorkeling gear and went around where we had kayaked. We had a great time!

Sunday we spent most of our day in airports and on airplanes. Bummer. The best part of Sunday (ok, really Monday as it was 1:30 am) was seeing my baby girl sound asleep in her bed. I (we) missed her so much. It was unbelievable! It was definitely much harder than I thought it would be. I don't think we'll be leaving her again!
