Olivia got her first haircut last week! Even though Kellie didn't take much off at all, it really makes a difference! :) She's so cute! Olivia didn't seem to mind the cutting at all. She just sat in my lap and played with a comb the entire time. She would chew on the comb for a little bit, and then offer it to me like she wanted me to chew on it. Silly girl. :) No haircut pictures...sorry...they are on our laptop, which is with Eric. She's really into extending toys to you as if she is going to share them, and then taking them back when you reach out for them. She laughs and laughs if you play that game with her.
Let's see, what else is new? Hm...well we're still here in Peru, Indiana with my parents. Eric stays in Indianapolis with a friend during the week (he's working there now) and then comes to Peru on the weekends. One night a week Olivia and I have dinner at Eric's parent's house, and then Olivia stays the night. This gives me a nice little break. She comes home the next morning, always in a great mood.
We've had 9 (I think) showings on the house, but no takers yet. It is getting very frustrating to have people look and then do nothing. I would have thought someone would have made an offer (even a ridiculously low offer) by now. We are trying to wait as patiently as possible, but I am starting to feel the effects of living away from Eric. We don't like it.
Back to Olivia now. She's a pro at crawling and monkey walking. She has pulled up a few times on the pack-and-play, stairs, and me. The other night she took two steps all by herself. She was holding on to my legs. I was not holding on to her at all. :) I don't think it will be too long before she is consistantly pulling up and cruising along the furniture. I'm excited, but nervous. She now has 6 very visible teeth and 2 more poking through. She kinda reminds me of a jack-o-lantern. :)
Lupe is...well...Lupe. She has discovered toilets. You see, at our home in TX, we ALWAYS put the toilet lid down out of habit. My parents do not do this here...and Lupe has now discovered toilet water. My dad told me the other day he caught her drinking out of the toilet. Yuck. Yesterday morning she greeted me in bed with a very wet face and whiskers. Hm...wonder where she had been. So, I called a family meeting and we have all agreed to try our best at making sure the lid to the toilet is DOWN. :)
I know I have not been good about posting, but it is extremely rare for me to have any time to myself. I will try to get better!

Oh, she's such a doll! Think of you often, I'll do better by calling soon. School is off to a quick start. Man, it sure is tough to teach 5th graders in 45 minutes! Miss you, talk soon!
