We had a super fun Easter yesterday. We got up and went to the early service at church. The message was phenomenal! Olivia had a lot of fun in the nursery playing with the other little girl that was in there. Then we came home so Olivia could take a nap. As soon as Olivia woke up, we headed over to our "parent's" house in Atascocita. They are actually Brandon's (our best friend) parents, but they have kind of adopted us since our parents are all back in Indiana. We had a delicious meal and some really tasty desserts. The kids hunted eggs in the front yard over and over. Ok, actually just twice, but we stayed outside and played for a while. Olivia was definitely hyped up on sugar, even though she didn't really eat all that much candy. Actually, we have no clue how much she ate, because different people kept giving her things when we weren't watching. I know this because she came running up to me with chocolate all over her face, but neither Eric nor I gave her any chocolate. :) Oh well, it is only Easter once a year! We headed home and when we walked in the door, Olivia ran to the jelly bean bowl and started asking for some. NO MORE CANDY! She cried and cried when we repeatedly said no. She did scarf down her entire dinner shortly after. :) What a fun day!
The little yellow thing hanging off of her basket is a duck calling whistle. She LOVED it and played with it most of the day.
Olivia trying desperately to eat through the wrapper to get to the chocolate.
Yay! Another egg!
Hey guys, look at my basket!
But I don't want to sit and pose for a picture Daddy! I want to play!
I sure am getting good at finding these little eggs!
