Julian is ONE!

WOW!! Where did the last year go? Julian is such a sweet little boy. He LOVES to follow his big sister around and get into all of her toys. He is a great eater and will eat ANYTHING you put in front of him, without even really looking at it first. Down the hatch it goes. He is a super crawler, and is mega fast! He is pulling up on everything, and can cruise along the furniture and behind toys. He has stood up by himself a few times, but hasn't ventured out on his own for walking yet. He is so easy-going and well-tempered. Nothing (except the occasional bonk from Olivia) really phases him or upsets him. He transitioned super easily from the bottle to a cup and from formula to milk. This makes me a super happy Mommy.

He had a pretty fun birthday (I think). He slept in until about 8 or so. When he woke up, I made him some chocolate chip pancakes, which he devoured. Around 9 he took a nap...until almost noon! Then we had some lunch and headed to Toys-R-Us to pick out a birthday toy! He was rubbing his eyes when we got home, so he took another nap for almost 2 hours. When he woke up, we played with his new toy and then headed to McDonald's for his first ever Happy Meal. He ate almost all of his cheeseburger, and a few fries. We had to run to Target to get a storage bin set for all of his new birthday toys. When we got home, it was bath time. He LOVES taking baths. He played for a bit, had some milk, and then went to bed. Sounds like a fun day to me!

Yummy birthday pancakes!

Wow, I hope he doesn't eat like this when he starts dating.

All done!

A nice birthday nap in my bed!

Is this how I eat this thing?

He's not really sure of what he is about to eat.

More...I need more! :) Look at his little grin.

Almost done! He ate almost the whole thing!

Still hungry? :)

Happy Birthday Julian! It looks like he had a great day. Of course any day that includes two naps is a great day in my book! Can't wait to see all of you again!
