My new best friend

I just went to the dr. and I am 36 weeks, 5 days pregnant....and nothing is happening. I figure, I do everything at the last minute, so I think Olivia is going to do that to me. We are pretty sure that she is still transverse (sideways) at this point. She should be head down, but as I said before, she is taking her sweet time in every aspect. We did put the car seat in the car and packed a little bag for Olivia. I have some things gathered for my bag, but nothing packed yet. Lupe is loving having Mommy home all day, but I can't say the same thing. She is following me EVERYWHERE and I am starting to get a bit annoyed by her new fondness of me. She is laying at my feet as I type this. The first picture is from about 2 weeks ago, the second is from last night, and the third is from 5:15 am today, when I got up because I couldn't sleep anymore!!! Who ever thought sleeping through the night could be so difficult?!?

That is too funny! The second picture of Lupe's face is sooo sweet--her eyes look precious. Anyway, I've been meaning to call you because I knew you were sitting at home. If you're up for company, Abby and I would like to stop by. Let me know sometime if you'd like visitors (or you might just want the time to rest!)

I remember those sleepless nights!! It's hard to sleep with a watermelon for a stomach. Addison finally turned right at the end, so hopefully Olivia will too. Enjoy the rest you're getting. It only gets crazier, and more FUN from here!

You are SO cute--I'm glad to see you finally started so show! You are going to love being a mom-especially getting to stay at home. Jack is such a joy, but it goes by so fast! Try to remember everything you can (it helps to take 300 pictures a month like I do). And my advice-no matter how many times a night you have to get up to pee right now, in three weeks you will have to struggle to remember what sleep is, so enjoy it while you can ;)

Also-At 36 weeks I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I dilated a cm a week after that and became more effaced. So naturally you'd assume Jack came early, right? Wrong! He came the day before his due date! So even though you haven't progressed yet-don't lose hope! Progress at this point really doesn't mean squat ;)

I totally remember the days of sleepless nights due to being uncomfortable...I always said it was my bodies way of preparing me for spurts of sleep once Latham got here. Start getting in the habit of taking naps now...they become lifesavers! If you want to get out of the house and walk...call me, we could meet you at the mall or something. :) And by the way...I was 2 cm and 50% effaced at 34 weeks, my doctor thought I'd go early, but no, Latham came right on the due date I had all along...so numbers really don't mean a thing. :)
