The calm after the storm

Lupe tries to play with Olivia

Rock star hair!

Olivia is practicing her karate moves

Gee, I wonder what she is thinking...

Late morning photo shoot!

So two weeks ago Olivia had the most horrible week ever. She was fussy all day every day and HUNGRY. It seemed as if I nursed all day long and could never satisfy her. On Friday I called the doctor and explained what was going on. They told me to bring her in for a check-up. Diagnosis: hungry and gassy. Apparently I wasn't (and still am not) producing enough milk. When she was nursing and not getting anything, she was taking in a lot of air. That is how she got gassy. She was extremely miserable...as was I at that point. I don't know how many times I told Eric that I was NOT going to have any more children. Don't worry, I have since reconsidered that idea. I have been supplementing with formula in the mean time. I am going to make an appointment with a lactation consultant sometime this week. I never thought I'd say this, but nursing has become SOOO much easier than giving her a bottle. It is also much faster.

Olivia LOVES her little tummy time mat, only she HATES to actually be on her tummy. It is really hilarious to watch her stare at the star on top. What is even funnier is when I pick her up from the mat, Lupe lays down on it and nudges all the toys with her nose. It is like she is having her turn with the toy. The best is when she tries to take her turn at the same time O is on the mat. It is really cute.

Oh, and did I mention she slept through the night again last night?!?! Wahoo! She went to bed at 8:30 and didn't get up until 7:30!! Then she ate and went back to sleep until 9:45!

I can't believe how much O has grown! She is still a cutie pie though. Hugs to all.

I hope ya'll are feeling better. I seriously wanna have a play date! We definitely haven't had enough, and we're all totally better here (thank you God!) I'm LOVING the "O" outfit--that is too precious! And her late morning photo shoot was perfect...her hair is amazing! Hope to talk to you soon!

Latham would just stare at the star too...he would smile and coo at it ALL the time! We joked that it was his first "friend." We're all well finally...let's do something soon.
