Yay! Olivia is 3 months old today! :) She wanted to celebrate this morning at 1:30! She started the celebration with Mommy, but had to end it with Daddy because Mommy was on the verge of tears! She would NOT go back to sleep. Stinker. She had a full week of sleeping through the night...and then I guess she decided that was no fun so she went back to getting up 1-2 times a night. Last night I finally (and very vocally) confessed that I did NOT want to get up with her any more. Eric must have been semi-awake at that time because he came into O's room shortly after I stomped out of our room. He took over so I could pull myself together. What a wonderful man!
My favorite thing Olivia has done in the past 3 months is definitely her smiles! I get them daily and I LOVE them! They are so wonderful. She always knows just when to smile at me, too! Like this morning at 1:30...she was full of them. She ALWAYS does it right after she goes poopie, as if to say "I got a present for you Mommy!" or something to that effect. She smiles a lot when I am changing her diaper as well. She also talks to me all the time. It is so cute!
She is gaining upper body strength and is able to hold herself up for just a little bit. She can't roll over yet, but hey neither can Lupe (on command anyway) and she is almost 2! :) She doesn't put toys in her mouth yet either, but I think that will come soon. I'm very interested in knowing when other children learned to do things, so I'd love for you to leave comments telling me about your kiddos! :)
