7 months!

I'm helping Mommy do laundry. Or maybe I'm just making a bigger mess.

Olivia turns 7 months old today! :) She's the sweetest baby in the world! We have really been amazed how how the months just fly by. It seems like just last week she was learning how to hold her head up....and now she is sitting up!

Things Olivia loves: trying to grab Lupe, her thumb, her feet, pears, Snowy Bear (a book our friend gave her), being tossed up into the air, swimming, bath time, walks, orajel, and KISSES!

Things Olivia dislikes: hearty vegetable stew (gags every time), putting on her pajamas, being on her tummy, bottles without tons of oatmeal in them, and heat.

She's such a little stinker. She WILL NOT roll. I don't think it is because she can't do it, I just think she doesn't want to do it. She's done it both ways now (back to front just once) and just doesn't like it. I hope it doesn't effect her ability to crawl. I make her have TONS of tummy time in the hopes that she'll just get sick of it and try to crawl away. :)

I love every day with my little girl. I'll admit, some days seem much longer than others, but at the end of the day when she is asleep, I can't wait to see her again the next morning. I always have to go in to look at her sleeping at least twice before I go to bed. Eric gets annoyed, but humors me and goes in to look, too. :) We always try to guess what position she'll be in when we go. I usually win!

On another note, we just got back from Indiana. My sister had a baby shower on Saturday. It was really fun, but I missed out on the gifts part because Olivia had a meltdown and could not be consoled. We sat outside on a step and she just loved it. Like I said, stinker. The moment I brought her back inside, WAAAHHHH! She finally fell asleep on my mom. Way to go G'ma Becky! After that shower, we went with Karen (Eric's Mom) to his cousin's bridal shower. Wow, that was quite a day. Olivia did a great job there. She played with her Aunt Andrea for a long time and then finally conked out on G'ma Karen. I love sleeping babies!
