Thick bottles not really helping

My new record for Guitar Hero. 583 notes in a row! I messed up on the LAST section.

The gray blanket is the "Lupe protector" for our white duvet cover.

So last week when we went to the doctor, she told me to try putting rice cereal in Olivia's bottles to thicken it up a bit. Well, it is not really working. Now we have a new problem. Now when Olivia spits up, the cereal gets caught in her throat and she chokes on it. Yuck! Then she coughs so hard she gags and throws up again. Not fun! However, I am using oatmeal cereal instead of rice, so could that be it? I called the doctor and now she wants me to try Enfamil A.R. for a week. That stuff is EXPENSIVE! There is no "Target brand" for that! I don't know what to do first...thicken her bottles with rice instead of oatmeal, or just get that dang formula. I just want Olivia to be happy! Poor girl!

On to better news, Olivia has become quite the good little sitter. Last night I went to Applebees with Cindy (a great friend from AMS) and Olivia sat in the high chair! It was so cute! They make these new ones now that convert from holding a car seat to holding the kid sitting up. Great invention. I've seen them at Jason's Deli and Applebees.

What else? Oh yeah, I am on trial 6 of my sister's baby shower cake. I decided I could make it myself. :) Trial 5 was PERFECT, but it was a scaled down version of the real cake. So today...I am making the real one. It feeds 27 people, and I have no idea what I'll do with a cake this big...but I'm sure my neighbors can help me think of something. ;) Tonight we are watching Sophie (our 8 month old neighbor) so her parents can go to an Astro's game. Tomorrow we are all going to a game! Yay!

Hey Girl! Olivia looks so "grown-up" sitting up and playing! Hope you figure out something with her reflux. Let me know how the real deal baby cake goes :) Miss you!

Hey...Olivia is doing so well. I would try rice cereal first and also ask the doctor for a sample of that formula before you go buy it...what if it doesn't work? Just my thoughts...for whatever they are worth.
